Placid Mugumya, Bishop’s Secretary, delivered a poignant address to the students, urging them to lead purposeful lives guided by God’s teachings. Emphasizing humility, he reminded them, “The kingdom of God is for those who are childlike.”
Headteacher Christopher Monday expressed gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff and expressed confidence in the candidates’ potential to excel in their forthcoming exams. He encouraged the students to maintain their focus and continue to uphold the school’s tradition of excellence.
Remegio Byamukama, a former Headteacher, highlighted the unique qualities of St. Mary’s College and encouraged the students, especially the boys, to remain steadfast in their studies, emphasizing a bright future ahead for them.
The annual celebration not only reinforced the Catholic faith within the school but also served as a poignant reminder of the values exemplified by St. Mary. Students were encouraged to embody these principles not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal lives, fostering a community dedicated to both spiritual growth and academic achievement.
