Christian Leaders Advocate for Godly Friendships to Foster Spiritual Growth and Community Development

Christians have been urged to engage in Godly friendships and avoid earthly relationships if they want to live a happy life.

This call was made today by Rev. Frank Twikiriize, the parish priest of St. Matthew Bugarama COU, during a service in which the Christian women of St. John’s Bugongi parish paid a pastoral visit to build friendships with the Christian women of this parish.

Rev. Frank Twikiriize, parish priest of St. Matthew Bugarama COU, passionately urged attendees to prioritize godly friendships over worldly relationships. He emphasized that such friendships are essential for walking in the light of Jesus Christ, offering spiritual education and guidance crucial for personal and collective well-being.

“Godly friendships are filled with the blood of Jesus Christ,” Rev. Twikiriize declared, highlighting their transformative power. He called upon the Christian women from both Bugongi and Bugarama parishes to nurture their newfound friendship in ways that glorify God and deepen their faith.
