The Diocese of Kigezi radio station, in collaboration with the Tuzekushaba program crew, today distributed and handed over various Christmas items to Bible study quiz winners of the Tuzekushaba program, hosted by Mutabazi Billy.
Speaking during the distribution, Mutabazi Billy, the program host, emphasized that the initiative of awarding Bible study quiz winners aims to encourage others to read their Bibles, thereby promoting and spreading the gospel. He added that the program is driven by a passion for the love of God and the radio station’s commitment to serving the community.
Mutabazi noted that the event is held annually, made possible through the support of partners and friends who contribute various items.

Kabagambe Benon, the patron of the Bible Study Initiative, stated that the initiative is motivated by a passion to lead the spread of the gospel. He encouraged the winners to worship the Lord openly and urged parents and guardians to purchase Bibles for their children to inspire and motivate them to read. He stressed that Bible reading would help children avoid engaging in immoral acts such as drug abuse, fornication, and other forms of wrongdoing.

Speaking to our reporter, Amumpiire Clinton, a resident of Karubanda in Nyamweru Parish, and Andamutuhaire Desire from Mukoni Church of Uganda, expressed their gratitude and happiness toward the organizers of the Bible study quiz. They noted that the quiz helps them to overcome and resist evil by encouraging them to spend time reading the Bible. They further encouraged their peers to develop a habit of Bible reading as a way to resist the devil.

The winners received gifts such as goats, hens, bread, matooke, caps, and T-shirts. This initiative is supported and funded by well-wishers and listeners of the radio station. The program’s primary goal is to help listeners deepen their understanding of the Bible.
