Dr. Hilary Bakamwesiga Mbona, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Ndorwa West, has urged the public to participate in the upcoming census, stating that this will help the government plan effectively.
He made this call today during the requiem service for the late Richard Biryomumeisho at Katuna Catholic church in Katuna Town Council, Ndorwa West Constituency.
Dr. Hilary urged the public to participate in government programs such as the current population census emphasizing that once people are counted, this will help the government determine the population size, enabling it to plan effectively for its citizens and provide social services.
He has also called on parents, guardians, and caretakers to use the upcoming holiday to involve children in various activities, while not giving them too much freedom, and to guide them as a way of preparing them for a better future.
He has also called on students to use the upcoming holiday to make responsible friends who will help them plan for a better future, rather than those who may lead them into destructive behaviors such as alcohol consumption and smoking, emphasizing that they would be jeopardizing their future and could end up in trouble.
In a special note, he praised the Late Biryomumeisho, describing him as a person of integrity and trustworthiness, with love for everyone. He added that Biryomumeisho would be missed by all.
