Rukiga Woman MP Hopeful, Dr. Sylvia Encourages Primary Seven Candidates to Trust in God and Believe in Themselves Ahead of Final Exams

Dr. Sylvia Arinaitwe, the Deputy Managing Director of Finance and Corporate Strategy at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation has urged primary seven candidates in Rukiga District and else where in the country to believe in God and manage their time effectively as they prepare for their final exams next week.

Dr. Sylvia who is also the hopeful Woman Member of Parliament for Rukiga District for the 2026-2031 term, made these remarks at All Saints Church Kabale as she had officiated at a thanksgiving service for men and a fundraising event aimed at raising funds to complete the newly constructed priests’ house at All Saints Church Kabale, located in Kabale Municipality.

During her address, Dr. Arinaitwe encouraged the candidates to have confidence in themselves, reminding them that the knowledge gained from their teachers and the research they conducted during class will be invaluable. She emphasized the importance of faith in God, the creator of all things.

Arinaitwe also urged parents to prepare food for their children, ensuring they have the energy needed to perform well in their exams.

According to UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo, a total of 798,763 candidates are expected to sit for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) in 2024. The briefing for PLE candidates will take place on November 4, with exams scheduled for November 6 and 7.

Meanwhile Hon. Enid Origumisiriza Atuheire, founder of the Hallelujah Counselling Centre and also hopeful Woman Member of Parliament for Kabale District 2026-2031, urged men to surrender their hearts to God, as He alone knows the true path their hearts should follow
