Eliab Naturinda Mporera Fulfills Promise, Aids Kinyogo Primary School with Roofing Materials

Counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera, a hopeful candidate for the Ndorwa County West parliamentary seat in the 2026-2031 elections, has fulfilled his pledge to assist Kinyogo Primary School in Kitumba Sub-County with much-needed roofing materials. The school was among 11 institutions in Kabale District that recently benefited from a distribution of 784 iron sheets and 237 kg of nails by the Kabale District Local Government, aimed at improving educational infrastructure across the region.

However, the 60 iron sheets and 18 kg of roofing nails allocated to Kinyogo Primary School were insufficient to complete the roofing of the school’s building block. Facing a shortfall of 69 iron sheets, the school management turned to Counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera for help. True to his word, Naturinda purchased the additional iron sheets and handed them over to the school management today, Friday, 23rd August 2024.

Sabilit Patrick, the Headteacher of Kinyogo Primary School, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Naturinda for stepping in at a crucial time. He acknowledged that while the support from the Kabale District was appreciated, it fell short of the school’s needs.

The gesture has been well-received by the school community, with many praising Naturinda for his responsiveness and dedication to improving local education. The additional materials will enable the completion of the school’s building block, significantly enhancing the learning environment for the students.

The Kabale District Local Government’s distribution of materials and Naturinda’s subsequent contribution underline the ongoing efforts to bolster educational facilities in the district. As the 2026 elections draw nearer, such actions may play a pivotal role in shaping voter sentiment in Ndorwa County West.
