Rubanda District Woman MP hopeful, Grace Mugabirwe Mutebile, has called upon Christians to cultivate a spirit of gratitude in their daily lives to receive abundant blessings from God. She made this appeal while attending the induction service of **Rev. Ronald Ngabirano** as the new Parish Priest at All Saints Church Rubanda on Sunday.
Addressing hundreds of Christians who gathered for the ceremony, Hon. Grace emphasized the importance of being thankful to God in every situation, highlighting that gratitude opens doors to greater opportunities and divine favor.
“As Christians, we must learn to thank God in all things. It is through gratitude that we tap into His blessings and favor. Gratitude leads to abundance in life, not just materially, but spiritually as well,” Mugabirwe said.
The service, led by Nyaruhanga Archdeacon Ven. Noah Kyoma, was attended by community leaders, local clergy from the Archdeaconry, and a large congregation of Christians who had come to witness Rev. Ngabirano’s induction into his new role. During the service, Archdeacon Kyoma expressed his confidence in Rev. Ngabirano’s ability to lead the parish and called on the congregation to support him in his spiritual mission.
From All Saints Church Rubanda, Grace Mugabirwe continued to St. Paul’s Nangara Church of Uganda in Rujanjara Cell, Nangara Parish, Nyamweru Sub County, for the thanksgiving service of Peace Turyamureba, treasurer to Rujanjara LC1.
While addressing the congregation, Mugabirwe stressed the importance of spiritual growth as the foundation for personal and community development. She urged Christians to prioritize education, strengthen their faith, and focus on economic transformation at the household level, emphasizing that these elements are key to creating prosperous and empowered families within the community.
“Spiritual growth is vital for our well-being, but it must be accompanied by education and economic empowerment. These two pillars will uplift households and ensure that families are on a path to prosperity,” Mugabirwe said.
She also highlighted the need for improved health and sanitation practices in homes as crucial aspects of living a fulfilling life. She encouraged families to take responsibility for maintaining healthy environments, noting that physical health is just as important as spiritual well-being.
During her address at both St. Pauls and All Saints Church Rubanda, Grace Mugabirwe Mutebile officially announced her candidacy for the Rubanda District Woman MP seat in the upcoming elections. She expressed her commitment to serving the people of Rubanda, vowing to focus on education, health, and economic development as the pillars of her leadership.
“I am here today to humbly declare my candidacy for Rubanda District Woman MP. My goal is to serve and represent the people of Rubanda, and to work together with you in achieving progress in education, health, and economic transformation,” she stated.
