Misty Autumn Fields from the United States of America,USA has urged graduates to be good ambassadors of their institution in their communities and to put God first in their careers if they are to succeed in their fields.

She made this call today while speaking as the guest of honor during the third graduation ceremony of Haddassah girl’s Vocational Training Institute, held on the school premises in Upper Bugongi, Northern Division, Kabale Municipality, Kabale District.

Forty graduates have completed various vocational courses, and all have been equipped with sewing machines as a way of supporting them.

Misty stated that these graduates should represent their institute well by being faithful in their workplaces, as this will enable the institution to attract more students.

She also called upon the graduates to look back and support their peers who are still studying, so that they too can reach the end of their studies.

Twikyirize Marcy, the director of Hadassah girl’s Vocational Training Institute, has called upon all the graduates to be focused, well-behaved, and never to forget the morals they learned from Haddassah in the fields they have joined. She emphasized that the institute will always be open to them, and they should always come for consultation and support if the need arises.

She stressed that they don’t teach vocational studies only, but also equip students with real-life skills like public speaking and public relations, among others, so that they can be beneficial to their communities.

“Our mission extends beyond vocational training. We aim to equip our students with essential life skills, such as public speaking and public relations, to ensure they can make significant contributions to their communities,” Marcy stated.

Speaking during the same function, the chairman of the board of governors, Mr. Joshua Katarikawe, requested the graduates to put what they studied into practice and live exemplary lives in their communities, saying that this will promote their institution and attract more students.
