The former Member of Parliament for Kabale Municipality and Chairman of the Kigezi High School Lower Primary Old Students Association (KHIPOSA), Hon. Andrew Baryayanga Aja, has called for the establishment of a computer lab at Kigezi High School Lower Primary. He believes this initiative will significantly enhance the quality of education offered at the institution.
Speaking during a KHIPOSA executive meeting held today at the school in Northern Division, Kabale Municipality, Hon. Aja emphasized the need to equip young learners with essential digital skills to thrive in a technology-driven era.
“A computer lab is not just an infrastructure investment; it’s a tool to empower our children and prepare them for a competitive future,” Hon. Aja said.

The meeting was part of preparations for the school’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for December 27th, 2024. The AGM will bring together alumni, parents, and other stakeholders to deliberate on strategies to advance the school’s infrastructure and academic standards
Hon. Aja also urged parents to continue supporting the school, emphasizing that providing adequate resources is crucial for academic success. He highlighted the association’s commitment to fostering a collaborative approach toward the school’s development.
Addressing the students, Hon. Aja encouraged them to use the upcoming long holiday productively by supporting their parents at home and dedicating time to academic revision.
“This is an opportunity for you to reflect on your studies and strengthen your commitment to excellence. Make the holiday count,” he advised.
