Speaking at an event organized by the Hornby High School Old Girls’ Association to honor S1 and S5 students, Annet Komunda, Principal of the National Teachers College and chairperson of the association, urged students to focus on their studies, stressing that their future relies on academic commitment. The event was held today in the school chapel.

Komunda emphasized that education is the key to unlocking global opportunities and encouraged learners to stay in school and remain committed to their studies for a brighter future. During the same service, Rev. Benon Agaba, referencing Matthew 5:8, highlighted the importance of leading a pure life as an essential step toward spiritual salvation. He urged Christians to live with integrity, avoiding hypocrisy and deceit, and to cultivate hearts centered on God’s will and purposes. He noted that such a lifestyle, supported by Scripture and prayer, would lead to spiritual clarity and growth.

Rev. Agaba advised believers to trust in God’s timing, reminding them not to worry about the future but to stay present and confident in God’s plan for tomorrow.
