Minister Musasizi, MPs Rally Support for Kabale Woman MP Hon. Ndamira at Daughter’s Giveaway Ceremony

Prominent government officials and community leaders have thrown their weight behind Hon. Catherine Ndamira, the Kabale District Woman MP, urging Kabale District residents to re-elect her in the 2026 elections. The endorsements were made during the giveaway ceremony of Blessing Orikiriza, daughter of Hon. Catherine and Didas Ndamira, at Parabolic Gardens in Rutooma, Kabale Municipality.

The event drew a distinguished audience, including ministers, MPs, local government officials, religious leaders, and members of the community.

State Minister for Finance (General Duties) Hon. Henry Musasizi commended Hon. Ndamira and Hon. Niwagaba for their dedication to fostering development and teamwork in parliament. He lauded their contributions to advancing Kabale District and Uganda, citing their collaboration as instrumental in easing his ministerial responsibilities. Musasizi also congratulated Blessing Orikiriza on her milestone and extended his best wishes for her marriage.

Other MPs, including Hon. Jackline Amongin, Uganda’s representative to the East African Legislative Assembly, Hon. Juliet Bashiisha, MP for Mitooma District, and Hon. Hannifah Kawoya, State Minister for Health (Primary Health Care), echoed Musasizi’s sentiments. They urged Kabale residents to re-elect the two MPs, emphasizing their roles in driving national and community development.

The legislators also offered heartfelt congratulations to Blessing Orikiriza, highlighting the values of love, unity, and strength in her marriage.

Hon. Wilfred Niwagaba expressed gratitude to Hon. Ndamira and her family for organizing the event and thanked attendees for their unwavering support.

Hon. Catherine Ndamira expressed her appreciation for the community’s solidarity and the presence of dignitaries at her family’s special occasion. She congratulated her daughter, Blessing, and her new husband, gifting them a Bible, Rosary, and Holy Mary statue as symbols of faith and guidance.
