Ndorwa County West MP hopeful, Counsel Eliab Naturinda Mporera, has called on Christians to prioritize regular church attendance and worship to receive spiritual guidance in their everyday endeavors.
He made these remarks today during the official inauguration of Karambo Hiika, a new sub-parish off Rushabo Hiika in Rwanyana Parish. The event, held in Rutoma 1 cell, Buramba Parish in Kahungye Sub County, was presided over by Rwanyana Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Musinguzi Deusidedit.
Mporera emphasized the importance of cooperation between Christians and church leaders to foster both the growth of the church and the overall development of the community.
He used the occasion to urge parents to make their children’s education a top priority, noting that education is the most valuable gift parents can offer for their children’s future sustainability.
“As we inaugurate this new Hiika, let us work together with the church leadership to ensure it becomes a beacon of spiritual and social development. Parents must prioritize education, for it is the key to a better future,” Mporera stated.
He further called on the new leaders of the Hiika to collaborate with Christians in advancing the church and its mission.
While presiding over the mass Rev. Fr. Musinguzi Deusidedit reinforced the message of spiritual growth, calling on Christians to prioritize education, strengthen their faith, and focus on household-level economic transformation. He also emphasized the importance of health and sanitation in homes as part of living a fulfilling life.
Christians in attendance appealed to well-wishers for support in acquiring land to establish their own church, which they believe will solidify their spiritual foundation in the area.
