Over six million shillings were raised yesterday during the Kigezi High School Primary Old Students Reunion, held in the school’s main hall in Northern Division, Kabale Municipality. The funds will go toward the renovation of the school’s computer lab, a project estimated to cost 15 million shillings.
The Chairperson of the Kigezi High School Primary Old Students Association, Hon. Andrew Aja Baryayanga, called on former students and well-wishers to continue supporting the project. He emphasized that the renovated computer lab would serve as a critical educational resource for both students and teachers.
“We believe this renovation will uplift the students’ learning experience and prepare them for the future, equipping them with the technological tools they need to succeed,” Baryayanga remarked.
He also expressed gratitude to the school’s head teacher and staff for fostering collaboration with alumni and reassured them of continued support for the renovation and other initiatives.
