International Candidates Miss Final Primary Leaving Examinations in Kabale
Nelson Byomuhangi, headteacher of Kabale Primary School, has revealed that two international candidates failed to sit for their final Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). Out of the 195 candidates registered at the school, one student from Sudan returned to their home country, while another travelled to Kenya to reunite with their parents.
Byomuhangi also noted that the start of the morning exam was delayed by 30 minutes due to the high number of candidates.
Although the examination papers were delivered to the school on time, invigilators had to ensure that the exam rooms were properly set up and that the papers were intact, which caused the delay.
