The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, has called upon Christians to dedicate their blessings to serving God, emphasizing the need to be guided by loyalty and gratitude. This message came during a thanksgiving service held for Natasha Nyonyozi, the reigning Miss Uganda, at St. John’s Kamuganguzi Church of Uganda Archdeaconry in Kamuganguzi Sub County, Kabale District.
Bishop Akanjuna urged congregants to recognize that their success and achievements are divinely orchestrated, stressing that God’s will should be central to their ambitions and actions. He highlighted the importance of not only celebrating personal accomplishments but also contributing positively to others, reminding the audience of the biblical foundation in Jeremiah 1:4-5, where God acknowledges His knowledge and purpose for every individual even before their creation.
